Amino Silicone Oil

SiLIM Amino-modified silicone oil is amino modified polysiloxane with double amine in land chain. 

Its formula refers to: R1(CH3)2SiO[(CH3)2SiO]m[(R2)(CH3)SiO]nSi(CH3)2R1, of which R1 is methyl or hydroxy, R2 is amino alkyl with primary amine or secondary amine.

MAIN FEATURES:

1) Excellent absorption ability to human hair and texile fiber (cotton, wool, silk, hemp etc).

2) Abe to be closely combined with active groups in hair or fibers to form a firm protective film on its surface, resulting in lasting softness, smoothness and luster, abrasion resistance, folding resistance and washing resistance.

TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS:

   ATTENTION:    

SiLIM Amino-modified PDMS will encrust or go to cross-linking curing when exposed in open environment for a long time.

It will also tend to change in viscosity or cross-link if mixed with acid base substances. Thus it is not suitable for white or light-colored fabrics applications due to the tendency of yellowing at high temperature.

APPLICATIONS:

1) Perfect material for textile softener.

2) High quality hair shampoo (make hair softer, smother and glossier; anti-static and washable).

3) Protection and coating material for wooden or leather furniture/floor.

USAGE & DOSAGE:

1) When used in hair shampoo, amino silicone oil shall be emulsified by non-ionic or amphion surfactant before it is added into hair shampoo, hair conditioner, nutrition hair oil or mousse etc at the basis of solid content standard of 0.5~1%. Kindly note that similar amino silicone oil emulsion can be used directly as it is already emulsified.

2) When used in textile (cotton, wool, hemp or silk etc), it shall be emulsified in advance before adding the amino silicone emulsion to the softening emulsion and mixing up. The dosage is calculated according to the softened textile and specific technical requirement. Generally, solid content 0.3~1% is added.

PRODUCT SAFETY AND STORAGE:

Shelf life is 12 months under good storage condition.

Keep the goods under room temperature (4~35℃) in original unopened container. Storage condition under cool, away from direct sunlight, high temperature and strong acid/alkali material is proposed. Customers shall read the most updated MSDS, product safety instruction and storage tags. If necessary, the personal protection measure shall be undertaken during operation.
